Ain't Misbehavin'

Grace is into EVERYTHING!
She loves to pull my yarn out of the baskets I keep it in.

And I Mean EVERYTHING!
(I had just walked out of the bathroom and I expected Grace to follow me a moment later heard splashing... so I grabbed my Camera and found this... I mean she was already playing in it so what would another few seconds longer -enough for a photo- do to her?)

I find that its time to keep the bathroom door shut!
She has done this twice now.
Luckily this time was the end of a roll.

I Really REALLY REALLY want a new camera! Right before this she was looking up at me with the most perfect smile
(all of her smiles are perfect)
on her face my camera was just too slow :(

This is her "emo" photo of the week.

Spice Things UP

January is always a blah kind of a month!
The holidays are over and here in Logan the Inversion sets in making everything hazy and kind of drab. So I took control and of course did something to my Hair! SURPRISE!
A few highlights and low lights, and a trim. Nothing drastic, now THAT'S a suprise! Now makeup on the other hand. I'm trying to learn the art of liquid liner, what do you think? Don't quit your day job? yeah , I know. In addition to trying new makeup techniques, I ran to the dollar store and obtained big velcro rollers so I did not have to fight with my incredibly horrid hot curlers, its not the same effect but it does the trick.

This is after I got the eye liner under control and the curlers were out. Grace and I were heading to the Mens basketball game. So we got all dressed up and headed up the game. Grace LOVES basketball and she flirts shamelessly with all the men around her, she tried to steal nachos from the guy behind us. We did not get to stay for the whole game but Grace was worn out.

Is it sad that we dress alike?
( more than 3/4 of the people at the game wear Game Day shirts so i guess its not really that bad )

School has started back up again. I am taking Biology 1010 and a really inane math class but both are necessary evils if I ever hope to graduate. I am taking my classes online and wouldn't you know it my computer power cord broke last night!!! *insert bad words here* I was so mad but luckily Dad was nice enough to let me borrow his computer until I can get the cord and so I could do homework.

Grace and I are doing well. She is still growing like a weed wearing 18 month size clothing and she's really seeming to stretch out. She's going to be a year old in less than a month, its really hard to believe that she's really that old and so big it seems like it was just yesterday when Nate and I were having a hard time finding her clothes that fit because she was so tiny. A LOT has changed over the last year.

Grace is learning to pull herself up and climb into the toy basket that I keep between the couches. She loves to watch Wall-e and I found a copy of All Dogs Go To Heaven at DI yesterday for two buck on DVD even! We watched that today and she sat in front of the tv captivated by the singing crocodile.

Happy New Years!

Grace and I had a wonderful New Years. We went out to Grammy and Papa's for New Year's Eve we played Partini and Scrabble at midnight we lit off some of Uncle Clark's fireworks then went home. Grace actually stayed up till midnight!

New Years Day, Grace and I went down to Bountiful with Grammy and Papa to meet up with the Kotters and Wilsons. It was so much fun to catch up with all of them and to see how much the kids have grown it was amazing to see the twins who were HUGE and Tyler was so grown up while Camille was so beautiful! The Kotter girls were so beautiful and growing in to lovely young ladies. It was wonderful to get to catch up and see how everyone is doing.

After lunch we hit Target, and Pier One Imports, Krispy Kreme then Target again. It was a long day but we had so much fun!
